Farago Han Studio, established in Sydney in 2023, is a multifaceted boutique design studio. Founded by directors Ingrid Farago and Min Han. While the firm is new, Ingrid and Min have worked together for almost a decade and each in the industry for over 20 years.

Our joint experience spans from intimate bars and restaurants to the larger scale luxury multi residential, hotels, wellness and co working. Working previously based in North America and Southeast Asia respectively, now both back based in Australia.

We are boutique on purpose, Design Directors with a small support team. This is how we achieve design excellence and stay involved in every part of the process. The time overseas for all of us has help shaped our lens on how we uniquely approach design and create narrative driven venues that focus on the guest experience.

Story is always first for us, storytelling that drives the experience driven design of the venue. We never start a project with a studio style, we always create a new identity that is unique to each project and that comes from our narrative process. Pulling from history, context and social drivers we write a rich story to inspire us, the clients and the project team to have an invisible single golden thread that gives runs through the projects from beginning to end that drives all decisions and gives the X factor that results in meaningful and beautiful spaces.
